Time: Every second counts!

Despite
having ‘N’ number of watches in my cupboard when I need one, none of them works.
Time – such a precious thing and we waste it every day of our life. We are
under illusion that we have lots of time whereas in reality we don’t know how
much time we have. We delay, we procrastinate, we forget but time goes on and
on and on. Suddenly we realize we have not just lost the time but we also lost
the opportunities.

What
an irony that we acquire various gadgets or watches to show us the right time
but we don’t know when is the right time. We have taken time for granted and we realize the value when it is lost. Acquiring watches will not give me the time
neither it will tell me that right time of my actions. It’s our instinct, our
senses which tells us the right time. Often we ignore what we feel or what our instinct
tell us because we are too much deluded by our surroundings. We are people who
get easily influenced, easily made to believe. Brands and Advertiser’s take
this feeling and make us believe in something which we don’t want too. They
play on our aspiration values, our emotions and our insecurities to make us
believe in them.

Coming
back to importance of time, what is time? Is it 24 hours in a day? No, it is
every second of our day. I read message which talked about importance of
seconds. It goes like this:

One Millisecond: Ask the person who won a silver medal at the Olympics
One Second: Ask one who just escape from an accident.
One Minute: Ask one who missed the train.
One Hour: Ask one who is waiting for his beloved.
One Day: Ask one who is on fasting.

One Week: Ask one who is hospitalized.
One Month: Ask one who has not received his salary.
One Year: Ask one who failed in exam

We think
we have all the time in the world. Buying 10 watches doesn’t mean you bought
time. Watch or gadget is just an instrument which communicates time. In the
end, time shown by them can be stopped any moment.

Don’t waste time in
mourning, sadness, stress or just in laziness. Time once passed can never be
back again. Time is yours; all you have to do is figure out how to use it untill
it runs out.

A second can make all the difference in the world. Make
those seconds count.
