Noise
Noise, a simple word, means simple, but for a person going through depression and frustration, noise is that extra sound which keeps coming back in your ears, again, again and again. This noise is not a word of wisdom, neither a noise of support. This noise is the sound of cribbing, torture and anger.
And to stop it from happening, you have that feeling of breaking away. That urge to break away from things or just break away from all those who are holding us. That need to be away from this noise, away from people, away from stuff and away from constant nagging of people. Is this feeling associated with frustration? Or is it disappointment in life? Or is it fear which haunts you and you feel to be away from that? Or as simple as anger.
A feeling of destroying is indeed a dangerous feeling as you lose control over your mind and action takes over. These actions can hurt someone or yourself, still we don’t care because at that moment you are not worried about the consequences. You are just worried about the noise and better ways to shut it down. Throwing stuff or even punching something won’t shut the noise. It will just divert your mind for a while till you ignore that noise and suddenly after a while, the noise comes back.
Dissatisfaction in life, unsuccessful professional life, limited reason for happiness or even no pursuit of dream and hobbies just multiplies that noise. Living each day yet not living in the moment, hoping that the day will just pass on and life comes to a point where you don’t realise what you have done but happy that it’s over. The little life inside you dies each passing day by giving importance to that noise. In the end, what is left is a zombie doing what other says or assigned to live its life. The real life which is prominent in your childhood days slowly dies with person growing up. Or rather it was dead from the beginning, but as a child, we really didn’t care about anything. With age comes maturity and understanding for us to soon realise that what we doing is nothing and of no importance.
Life is nothing but an object which is given to us to use it till its depreciation value is nil and consider obsolete. This object, called life can be used to create beautiful memories or stay idle and be rotten. What we don’t understand or fail to notice is that the object is connected with many other object aka life and destroying one will have side effect on others. Others will also go through the same life cycle and soon their happiness is replaced by frustration, depression and anger.
Be the reason of happiness or create frustration in many lives, it’s not your choice which matters. It’s your willingness which results in your choice.
